a thirty second fall

violent rain
thirty second fall
two souls lost
in different worlds
where they could not talk
to anyone else

he wakes up in the cold
forever hiding sun
behind silent skies.
he walks; he pasts
rivers and cannals
empty fields

she sleeps in the heat
of noisy beats
and gray afternoons.
she walks into the smog
a nameless face
among the crowd

how would they meet?

how did they meet?

a loveless ocean across time
waves and wind
blew their souls together
as they fly with their thoughts
a lost ecstacy
a language both can hear
and only they could know
and only they can understand
how to make the oceans soar
how to let light dissolve the darkness
and only they would know
their other half.
